Q&A with The Princess

Hello readers! So today I wanted to do a little questions and answers session at The Positive Castle. In case you were wonder who The Princess is...it's me. So I'm basically stating you're getting some questions that were asked to me and I answer them! I went on Twitter this week (if you're not following me, you should and you can here) and asked my lovely followers/mutuals/friends to ask me some questions to answer. Alright, enough with the side notes, lets get on to the Q&A!

Where do you hope to be in five years time?
— Análaighblog

That's a really good question! So in five years, I'll be in the early 30's (that's so weird to say out loud), so where do I hope to be by then? Well, I'd hope to be married, start, or have, a child, and be on my way to becoming either a relationship counselor or a mental health counselor for young adults. I try not to plan too much ahead on the future, because you never know what'll happen, but I certainly hope those things will be a reality by then.

What is your favorite TV show?
— Stephanie

Oh no, does that mean I can only choose one!? I have too many favorites, but the one I always list as my favorite is Degrassi: The Next Generation. I watched that show since I was in 6th grade and, in a way, I grew up with many of those characters. I did, however, stop watching after season 13, because I just wasn't feeling a lot of the characters. Now, if we're talking about shows I watch or have been watching that are my favorite, I'll list those too! They include RuPaul's Drag Race, How to Get Away with Murder, Superstore, Catfish, This is Us, Grey's Anatomy, Impractical Jokers, and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
— Jacey

I'm not a rebellious person or wild child, but the only one popping up to my head right now is when I went to Richmond, VA alone to visit my then boyfriend for the first time. Now before people start questioning my actions, although we met online, we were speaking for three month, called on the phone, and Skyped so we were aware we're both who we said we were. Plus, we were adults, but if you're meeting someone for the first time and you have only spoken to each other briefly, please bring someone with you and meet in a public area (the public area one is a good tip even if you've spoken for months or years).

What album can you listen to the whole way through without being like “Eh, I could do without this song”?
— Andie

Oh a music question! Not only is it a music question, but a question I really got to this about. So I had to look through all my favorite albums to get an idea, and after careful consideration, it has to be, hands down, "Close the Distance" by Go Radio. This album came out during a really hard time in my life (one of many) and I was in a really bad living situation. Because of that, I was really alone, but it gave me a chance to listen to this album from start to finish. Even counting the bonus tracks in the deluxe edition, I can honestly listen to every song on the album and not feel like I don't have to listen to a certain song again. Although the band broke up in 2013, they're still one of my favorite bands, and this is still one of my favorite albums.

So the next four questions are all from the amazing Lauren, but the more questions by one the merrier!

What is your favorite thing to blog about?
— Lauren

My favorite thing to blog about is topics about hope or not giving up. I mean, I do enjoy giving tips on how to use a planner or what products I use, but the real passion of what I believe in and want to talk about are subjects that deal with hope and not giving up. For instance, I love being able to use my stories from my life to inspire, or help, someone that needed to hear that day, "hey, life is tough, but you're tougher". When I blog about the idea of hope and not giving up and fighting for what you believe in or care for, I really put my all and passion in those words, because I mean every word I say and I want to be able to help someone not give up.

What is your proudest moment of blogging so far?
— Lauren

Being able to interact and network with such amazing and wonderful people! Honestly, there are so many people I've met and became friends with that I never would have known if it wasn't for blogging. Because I have been given a platform to share my stories and reach out, I've met such wonderful individuals who I am proud to call my friends.

What is your favorite season?
— Lauren

Ever since I was little, the answer was always summer. Once it was summer, it meant no school for three months, I was able to blast my fan every day and not feel judged, it was tank top and shorts weather, and it meant my birthday was coming up! As I've entered my mid to late 20's, I realized that maybe sweating excessively, dealing with heat exhaustion, and getting older isn't something to look forward to. Now, my answer is spring. To quote "Miss Congeniality" (not the exact quote), spring is "...not too hot and not too cold, all you need is a light jacket". Of course you could say that about fall, however, fall leads to more dark nights, while spring introduces more light after 6 PM, so that pleases me more.

What is your favorite food to eat?
— Lauren

Ready to hear the answer that's a totally not healthy food choice? It's pizza! I honestly love pizza. It's so yummy and if anyone offers it, I never say no (unless I had too much, then no thanks). Like I said, not the healthiest choice, but that's my answer and I'm sticking to it.

Alright, that about does it for this Q&A! If you have any questions you'd like me to answer, leave a comment and I'll answer! As always, thank you so much for reading, comment, like, share, and subscribe. See you all on Monday!
